2021 Rossofouco Barbera D’Asti | CostcoWineBlog.com
We’re seeing some new Italian reds hitting Costco stores, and it’s not the usual regions and varietals, which is exciting for us wine nerds.
Just in the past couple months, we found an Aglianico, Barbera D’Alba and Rosso di Toscana that were all very tasty and available at a great Costco price.
Now we have this Barbera D’Asti for only $11.99. Big scores (maybe a little too big) from Wine Enthusiast. We love Barbera, and even at the big box stores like Total Wine you don’t see as many bottles as you would expect.
This wine is a dark, deep ruby on the pour with earthy dark fruit aromas; flavors of red fruit, raspberry, cherry; the wine is medium in body with gentle acidity, super dry in the finish.
Solid wine and a bargain at this price point.
